Senior Generative AI Technical Architect – Google Cloud Location: Remote Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Generative AI Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions within the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Google's AI stack, including Vertex AI, Gemini, and Agent Builder, along with proven experience building scalable multi-agent systems, AI gateways, RAG architectures, and enterprise AI governance frameworks. This individual will define enterprise AI architecture, establish reusable design patterns, and drive the development of secure, scalable, and production-ready AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Define enterprise-wide Generative AI architecture, technical standards, and reusable design patterns. Architect and implement GenAI and Agentic AI solutions using Google Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Builder, and other Google Cloud Platform services. Design and scale multi-agent architectures, autonomous AI agents, and conversational AI platforms. Build enterprise AI Gateway and Model Gateway architectures for model routing, access management, and centralized AI orchestration. Architect RAG-based solutions, vector database integrations, knowledge graphs, and enterprise knowledge management platforms. Establish AI governance frameworks, responsible AI practices, security controls, and guardrails to ensure safe and compliant AI adoption. Design AI observability and monitoring frameworks covering model performance, agent behavior, latency, cost, and reliability. Develop semantic data layers and AI-ready data architectures to support enterprise AI applications. Establish MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, AI delivery frameworks, and reusable accelerators. Ensure scalability, security, performance, and reliability of enterprise AI platforms. Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, data architects, and product leaders to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions. Required Qualifications 12+ years of overall experience in technology architecture, engineering, or enterprise solution design. 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and AI/ML platforms. 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Generative AI and LLM-based architectures. Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) AI technologies, particularly: Vertex AI Gemini Vertex AI Agent Builder Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling Agentic AI and Multi-Agent Systems. Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, safety guardrails, and enterprise AI security. Experience designing AI Gateway / Model Gateway solutions and model routing architectures. Hands-on experience with RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and semantic data architectures. Experience with AI observability, monitoring, model evaluation, and performance optimization. Strong understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, Kubernetes, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification. Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP). Experience building enterprise AI delivery factories and reusable GenAI accelerators. Experience modernizing enterprise platforms for large-scale AI adoption. Experience defining enterprise AI operating models and responsible AI governance practices.
