Senior GIS Training Specialist

The Intelligence & Operations Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior GIS Training Specialist to work remotely in support of our Alexandria, VA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Combat Terrain Information Systems mission. In this mission we train active duty and reserve component units to use issued hardware and software. Primary Responsibilities: - Provide guidance to developers concerning workflow, user interface, and data packaging - Conduct additional events such as Best Sapper and the associated preparation and training for it - Train specialized units as required - Provide guidance to Senior Leaders regarding capabilities, and gathering feedback for new functionality - Participate in various exercises testing new technologies against our established data capabilities Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. - Must understand Risk Assessment and Mitigation, Technical Instruction, Training and Curriculum
