Senior Counsel – Technology & AI The Opportunity – Remote, US Our client is an innovative technology company operating at the forefront of AI, seeking a commercially minded Senior Counsel to join its growing team. The role will focus on technology transactions, commercial contracts and AI-related legal matters, with exposure to broader intellectual property, data and general commercial issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with experience in technology, AI, SaaS or a leading private practice firm to work closely with business and technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, technology transactions, SaaS agreements and software licences. Advise on AI-related agreements, including data rights, intellectual property, model use and third-party AI providers. Support strategic partnerships, technology licensing and product commercialisation. Provide pragmatic legal advice on contractual risk, privacy, data and intellectual property matters. Partner with cross-functional teams and support the development of scalable contracting processes. Candidate Profile US-qualified lawyer with approximately 7–12 years of relevant experience. Strong background in commercial contracts and technology transactions. Experience in-house at a technology, AI, SaaS or fintech business, or at a leading law firm. Exposure to AI, intellectual property, data privacy or emerging technologies advantageous. Commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment. The Ideal Candidate A commercially focused lawyer with strong transactional skills, sound judgement and a genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies, capable of balancing legal risk with business priorities and providing practical, solutions-oriented advice.
