About brighthush

brighthush is on a bold mission to revolutionize the dental industry—a sector worth more than $400 Billion—by delivering a modern, cloud‑native operating system that empowers dental practices worldwide. Backed by top-tier venture capital, we are redefining how clinicians manage patient care, streamline operations, and grow their businesses through technology, innovation, and world‑class support. Our platform unites practice management, patient engagement, and revenue optimization into a single, intuitive experience that helps clinicians focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care.

About the Role

As brighthush accelerates its global expansion, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Customer Expansion & Growth Strategy to architect and lead the expansion motion across our existing customer base. This role blends strategic vision with hands‑on execution, requiring a seasoned leader who can build a high‑performance expansion organization from the ground up, partner with cross‑functional teams, and turn customer engagement into measurable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the expansion organization. Recruit, coach, and empower frontline leaders who manage BDR and STS (Sales & Training Specialist) teams, ensuring they have the tools, training, and motivation to drive adoption of new products.
  • Design repeatable expansion playbooks. Create end‑to‑end playbooks that guide the customer journey from identification and outreach to education, activation, and upsell, covering the full brighthush product portfolio.
  • Develop the BDR‑to‑STS motion. Map the hand‑off process, define success metrics, and build a playbook for high‑touch expansion opportunities such as in‑person trainings, events, and consultative workshops.
  • Establish operating cadence and accountability. Implement weekly rhythm, dashboards, and leading‑indicator metrics that surface gaps early and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross‑functionally. Work closely with Account Management, Sales, Training, Marketing, Product, and RevOps to identify friction points, co‑create solutions, and align incentives across the customer lifecycle.
  • Build feedback loops. Capture qualitative and quantitative insights from customers and internal stakeholders to refine expansion tactics and prioritize high‑impact initiatives.
  • Iterate and operationalize new motions. Test hypotheses, analyze results, and scale successful expansion strategies as the business evolves.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales, customer growth, or related commercial experience, with at least 3 years managing and developing sales teams and frontline leaders.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performance teams in a high‑growth or evolving environment.
  • Strong operational discipline: you bring structure to ambiguity, set clear metrics, and relentlessly execute.
  • Commercial instincts: you understand how to translate customer engagement into revenue, adoption, and retention.
  • Expertise in building processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms from scratch.
  • High agency and a bias toward action—nothing gets left to chance.
  • Excellent cross‑functional communication skills, with the ability to influence strategy and execution across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building an expansion, cross‑sell, account growth, or customer revenue motion.
  • Background managing BDR and/or STS teams through frontline leaders.
  • Hands‑on experience with events, field sales, customer training, or other high‑touch commercial motions.
  • Exposure to both SMB and Enterprise customer segments.
  • Familiarity with dental, healthcare, SaaS, or other recurring‑revenue businesses.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinking with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Leadership and coaching ability that inspires high performance.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and drive decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for delivering value.

At brighthush, your career path is designed to evolve with you. You will:
