Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Advanced proficiency in DAX, including measures, calculated columns, and complex calculations. Strong experience with Power Query and M language for data transformation. Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data validation. Experience designing data models, relationships, and star and snowflake schemas. Expertise in developing interactive dashboards, KPI reports, drill-through reports, and visualizations. Experience connecting Power BI to SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud data sources. Knowledge of row-level security (RLS), workspace management, and scheduled data refreshes. Experience with report performance optimization and troubleshooting. Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and business reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports. Convert business requirements into effective reporting and visualization solutions. Create optimized data models, reusable datasets, and DAX measures. Transform and prepare data using Power Query and SQL. Integrate multiple data sources and ensure data accuracy. Optimize report performance and troubleshoot refresh and connectivity issues. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable analytics solutions.
