Senior Product Manager

Retelligence is partnering with a small, well-funded tech-for-good organization building products that help research teams organize, connect and build on each other’s work. This is a chance to do meaningful work with real-world impact, alongside a flat, collaborative team where you’ll have genuine ownership of the product. As the only product person, you’ll work directly with the founders to turn two years of feedback from research labs into a clear roadmap, and shape where the product goes next. The role After two years of collecting feedback from research labs, the team needs a hands-on Senior Product Manager to make sense of it and set the direction. You’ll be the only product person, working directly with the founders and owning the roadmap end to end. This is a doer role, not a people-management one. What you’ll do Analyse two years of lab feedback and find the patterns that matter Work closely with scientists to understand how they use the tools day to day Understand the founders’ vision and help shape where the product goes next Research the scientific community and the market, and decide who to target next Turn it all into a clear, prioritised roadmap the engineers can build from Prototype ideas and test them with real users Communicate clearly, mostly in writing, across a distributed team What we’re looking for Significant product management experience, ideally at a startup or small team A genuine link to science, through at least one of: a PhD a science degree published research experience at a science, research, medical or biotech company Excellent written and spoken communication A feel for how researchers think and work Bonus: some coding or prototyping ability, or experience with tools like Obsidian, Roam or Notion The essentials Competitive senior-level salary Employment (with benefits) or contract, whichever you prefer Fully remote, US or Canada, on Eastern time Interested?
