Role Overview
As a Senior Remote Customer Success Engineer at brighthush, you will be the linchpin between our customers and the product. Your role will span the entire customer lifecycle—from onboarding to expansion—ensuring that each engagement delivers measurable business value. You will partner with engineering, product, and sales to translate technical capabilities into tangible outcomes, while championing the customer’s voice within brighthush.
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑End Onboarding Ownership – Lead comprehensive onboarding journeys, coordinating architecture workshops, platform installation, access provisioning, integration configuration, and operational readiness reviews. Set the tone for a frictionless experience from day one.
- Success Planning & Execution – Craft and maintain living success plans that capture business objectives, KPIs, adoption milestones, and a forward‑looking roadmap. Use these plans to steer every customer conversation and decision.
- Value Articulation & Business Case Development – Translate technical adoption into tangible business outcomes—cost savings, engineering velocity, risk mitigation, and ROI. Build robust business cases that support renewal and expansion discussions.
- Proactive Engagement & Relationship Management – Own the cadence of customer interactions: regular check‑ins, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs). Drive strategic partnership conversations that go beyond feature updates.
- Technical Credibility & Problem Solving – Engage confidently with platform engineers, DevOps leads, and architects. Discuss tenant cluster deployment patterns, RBAC, tenant isolation, integrations, and day‑2 operations. Provide hands‑on support for complex technical challenges.
- Renewal & Expansion Leadership – Initiate renewal conversations 90+ days before the contract end date. Identify expansion triggers—new use cases, AI/GPU workloads, additional tenant clusters, tier upgrades—and collaborate with the Account Executive and Solutions Engineer to convert them into growth.
- Customer Advocacy & Feedback Loop – Serve as the internal champion for customer needs. Escalate blockers, prioritize feature requests, and deliver actionable insights to Product and Engineering teams grounded in real account context.

- Strong technical communication skills—able to discuss RBAC, tenant isolation, and cloud infrastructure with confidence and depth.
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional technical resources and escalating issues when necessary.
