Senior SAP Ariba Consultant

Senior SAP Ariba Consultant Experience: 14+ years Industry: Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Location: [remote Engagement: [Contract / We are seeking a Senior SAP Ariba Consultant with 14+ years of SAP procurement experience and strong experience supporting the CPG industry. The consultant will lead the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of SAP Ariba solutions across complex procurement environments. The ideal candidate understands end-to-end source-to-pay processes and can work with procurement, finance, supply chain, and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support for SAP Ariba initiatives. Advise business stakeholders on source-to-pay processes, including sourcing, supplier management, contracting, purchasing, invoicing, and supplier collaboration. Design and configure relevant SAP Ariba modules, such as Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, Buying and Invoicing, and Business Network. Support integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA or ECC using SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network (formerly CIG), and other integration technologies. Analyze and resolve issues involving master data, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoices, and supplier transactions. Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to address CPG requirements, including high-volume purchasing, supplier collaboration, and complex approval workflows. Lead workshops and prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, and training materials. Coordinate with technical teams, system integrators, and business stakeholders to manage dependencies, defects, and deployment activities. Support data migration, cutover, hypercare, and ongoing solution improvements. Mentor consultants and provide guidance on SAP Ariba best practices. Required qualifications 14+ years of SAP procurement and implementation experience, including substantial hands-on SAP Ariba experience. Experience supporting SAP Ariba or procurement transformations in the CPG industry. Experience with multiple SAP Ariba implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements. Strong functional knowledge of source-to-pay processes and SAP Materials Management (MM). Hands-on experience configuring and supporting SAP Ariba modules and workflows. Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or ECC. Experience working with supplier, material, purchasing, and organizational master data. Ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and communicate with business and technical teams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications Experience with SAP Ariba Business Network, Catalog Management, Guided Buying, or Supplier Risk. Experience supporting global procurement operations across multiple regions and business units. Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs and SAP Ariba data migration. SAP Ariba certification.
