Senior Software Engineer, Vulnerability Management

About the Opportunity: The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT is responsible for developing and maintaining backend and distributed systems that identify vulnerabilities across the organization's services and infrastructure. This role ensures that security issues are tracked and assigned appropriately, and manages software supply chain security controls. The position plays a critical role in safeguarding the development environment and supporting secure software delivery. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable technical solutions across multiple services. Build platforms to collect and manage security findings from various sources, assign them to responsible teams, and track remediation. Implement software supply chain controls that enforce security policies without hindering development speed. Ensure compliance with standards such as FedRAMP and maintain stable APIs for dependent teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative security solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members. Maintain system health and quality, including participating in on-call rotations. Produce architecture documentation, conduct experiments, and develop prototypes to support system scalability. Develop maintainable code and maintain deep familiarity with the systems built. Requirements: 6+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent education and experience in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields. Proven experience in delivering production software using one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python. Preferred experience includes 2+ years with general-purpose and scripting languages (e.g., Go, Python) and 3+ years with cloud environments or Cloud Native Computing Foundation concepts. Pay Range and Compensation Package: The base salary range for this job is USD 124,000.00 to USD 329,200.00 per year. Pay depends on factors including location and candidate qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits, annual bonuses, stock options, and sales incentives based on individual impact and plan terms.
