Role Overview
We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Strategic Customer Success Manager to become the trusted partner for a curated portfolio of high‑value financial services clients. In this high‑touch, consultative role, you will own the entire post‑sales experience—from onboarding to renewal—while collaborating closely with Solutions Architects, Technical Support, Product Management, and Sales. Your focus will be on driving measurable business outcomes, deepening executive relationships, and positioning brighthush as a strategic ally rather than a vendor.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Leadership: Build and nurture trusted relationships across all levels of the client organization, from technical teams to CISOs and executive sponsors. Understand each customer’s business objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory landscape to align brighthush’s value proposition accordingly.
- Business‑Focused Onboarding: Lead the success planning phase of onboarding, setting clear value delivery milestones and ensuring stakeholder alignment. Partner with Solutions Architects to synchronize business and technical workstreams, guaranteeing a seamless transition from implementation to value realization.
- Executive Engagement & Governance: Own executive business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and escalation conversations. Know when to bring in brighthush leadership and how to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics in large financial institutions.
- Renewal & Expansion Strategy: Work hand‑in‑hand with Sales to identify upsell opportunities, mitigate renewal risk, and craft multi‑year account plans grounded in demonstrated value.
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within brighthush, translating needs into product and roadmap feedback. Influence cross‑functional teams—including Product, Engineering, and Sales—to deliver solutions that meet evolving regulatory and business demands.
- Issue Escalation & Resolution: Coordinate with Technical Support and Engineering on escalations, acting as the business‑side lead while the Solutions Architect handles technical resolution.
- Thought Leadership & Knowledge Sharing: Represent brighthush at industry events, webinars, and client workshops. Share best practices and insights on software supply chain security, DevSecOps, and regulatory compliance.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise customer‑facing roles, with a strong preference for experience in or adjacent to financial services.
- Proven track record of operating as a strategic business partner—understanding customer goals, navigating complex organizations, and translating outcomes into measurable business value.
- Deep familiarity with financial services regulatory and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, FedRAMP, PCI DSS, operational resilience, etc.) and how they influence security procurement.
- Working knowledge of at least one of the following domains: software supply chain security, vulnerability management, DevSecOps, container security, or application security. You need not be a technical implementer, but you must speak credibly about business and security outcomes.
- High‑autonomy mindset: full ownership of your portfolio, independent decision‑making on account strategy, and the ability to create new playbooks when existing ones fall short.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- High emotional intelligence, strong prioritization instincts, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing strategic accounts at a cybersecurity or infrastructure software company.
- Experience supporting or selling into banks, asset managers, insurers, or fintechs.
- Familiarity with the security and compliance obligations that shape procurement and adoption cycles in regulated industries.
- Early‑stage startup experience, demonstrating agility and a growth mindset.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and translate it into actionable account plans.
- Relationship Management: Building trust with technical and executive stakeholders alike.
