Senior Vice President Finance

Role Description The Senior Vice President Finance is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading Redbird’s overall financial strategy, planning, and execution. This position oversees budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and sustainable growth. The SVP Finance directs the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, maintains robust internal controls, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding long-term financial planning, partnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and investments, managing relationships with external auditors and financial institutions, and optimizing financial processes and systems. The role also involves mentoring and developing the finance team, establishing clear performance metrics, and delivering timely, data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience leading corporate finance functions at a senior level. Expertise in Financial Planning and forecasting, including budgeting, cash flow analysis, and long-range strategic planning. Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements, with a solid understanding of GAAP or relevant accounting standards. Advanced Analytical Skills applied to Financial Reporting, including the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and executive-level presentations. Proven track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams in a remote or distributed environment. Experience with ERP and financial systems, process optimization, and implementing controls to ensure accuracy and compliance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and support strategic decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced credential preferred.
