Senior Vice President Finance
Role Description The Senior Vice President Finance at MEETA-X is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial strategy and performance. This role includes leading financial planning processes, monitoring cash flow and capital needs, and ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports. The Senior Vice President Finance will partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling, as well as support strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis. Daily activities include reviewing financial results, identifying risks and opportunities, implementing financial controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. The role also involves mentoring finance team members, optimizing systems and workflows, and presenting financial insights to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in senior-level financial leadership roles. Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting and long-range financial modeling. Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including compliance with applicable standards. Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting complex data, assessing financial performance, and supporting strategic decisions. Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time executive capacity, managing priorities and meeting deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders. Experience implementing and improving financial systems, processes, and internal controls. Background in corporate finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly beneficial. Track record of strategic partnership with executive teams and boards, contributing to business growth and organizational resilience.
