Senior Vice President of Finance

Role Description The Senior Vice President of Finance at Forma'Zen will lead the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and operations in a full-time, remote capacity. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning to support sustainable growth. The Senior Vice President of Finance will direct the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and maintain robust internal controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding finance teams, collaborating with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, evaluating investment opportunities, and providing clear, data-driven recommendations to support decision-making. The role also involves optimizing financial processes, managing relationships with external auditors and financial institutions, and driving continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting.

Qualifications

Strong finance and financial planning skills, including experience in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial management. Proficiency in financial statements and financial reporting, with the ability to interpret, analyze, and present complex financial information to diverse stakeholders. Advanced analytical skills, with a track record of using data to support decisions, identify trends, and improve financial performance. Extensive leadership experience managing finance teams, with the ability to mentor, develop talent, and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture. Demonstrated experience in executive-level financial roles, preferably in high-growth or innovation-focused organizations. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices in corporate governance and risk management. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into clear, actionable guidance for non-financial stakeholders. Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills, digital collaboration proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance) and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly beneficial.
