SEO / SEM Specialist
About The Role The role owns organic and paid search performance end-to-end: technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword strategy, and paid search campaigns that drive qualified traffic and pipeline. You will work closely with content, web engineering, and demand-gen marketers to grow non-branded organic traffic and lower blended acquisition costs, reporting directly on rankings, CTR, and cost-per-lead.
Key Responsibilities
Own the SEO roadmap: technical audits, crawl budget management, site architecture recommendations, and Core Web Vitals improvements Build and manage paid search campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including bidding strategy, ad copy testing, and negative keyword hygiene Conduct keyword and competitive research using Ahrefs, Semrush, and GA4 to identify organic growth opportunities Partner with content and web teams to implement on-page optimizations, schema markup, and internal linking at scale Run structured experiments on landing pages, ad creative, and SERP features to improve conversion rates Build dashboards and monthly reporting on rankings, organic traffic, paid CPA, and pipeline contribution Monitor algorithm updates and search landscape changes; adjust strategy proactively What We Are Looking For 3-6 years of hands-on SEO/SEM experience in B2B or B2C tech environments Deep proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Ads, and tag management (GTM) Working knowledge of technical SEO: site crawlers, structured data, JavaScript rendering issues, and page speed optimization Track record of managing six-figure paid search budgets with measurable efficiency gains Ability to translate analytics into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience Bonus: Experience with B2B SaaS demand gen, content-driven SEO programs, or tools like Looker Studio, BigQuery, or Screaming Frog
