SEO / SEM Specialist
About The Role The role owns organic and paid search performance for a fast-growing technology company, responsible for turning search into a predictable, measurable acquisition channel. You will manage technical SEO, content optimization, and paid search campaigns end-to-end, working with content, product marketing, and engineering to grow qualified traffic and lower blended CAC.
Key Responsibilities
Own the SEO roadmap: keyword research, on-page optimization, technical audits (crawl errors, site speed, Core Web Vitals), and internal linking strategy Build, launch, and optimize Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns, including keyword bidding, ad copy testing, and negative keyword management Track and report on rankings, traffic, conversions, and ROAS using GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio dashboards Partner with content and web teams to brief new pages, optimize existing content, and resolve technical SEO issues in the CMS Run structured A/B tests on landing pages, ad copy, and CTAs to improve quality scores and conversion rates Manage paid search budgets and pacing; report performance and forecasts to marketing leadership Monitor SERP features, algorithm updates, and competitor activity to adjust strategy proactively What We Are Looking For 3-6 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience, ideally in B2B or B2C tech Deep proficiency with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads Proven track record of improving organic traffic and paid search efficiency against clear KPIs Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals: site architecture, schema markup, rendering, and page speed Comfortable building reports and analyses in Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets, or similar Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Bonus: experience with HTML/CSS basics, JavaScript SEO issues, programmatic SEO, or marketing automation platforms like HubSpot
