About the Role
Agency FIFTY3 is seeking an SEO Specialist to join its Digital Department. This role focuses on implementing, optimizing, and managing strategic SEO campaigns for a portfolio of clients, with an emphasis on local search performance, website analytics, and organic visibility. The ideal candidate combines hands-on SEO expertise with analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a performance-focused approach. You will monitor campaign results, identify opportunities for improvement, develop effective keyword strategies, and translate performance data into clear insights for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct competitive analysis and develop hyper-local keyword strategies to improve organic search performance. Optimize Google Business Profiles and manage monthly backlink activities and business directory listings. Develop SEO-optimized blog post frameworks to support client content strategies. Monitor active SEO campaigns, evaluate performance metrics, and adjust keyword strategies as needed. Identify opportunities to improve campaign results and provide proactive recommendations. Stay informed about SEO trends, tools, search engine algorithms, and emerging optimization methods. Explore new methodologies and contribute to improving internal processes and campaign efficiency. Prepare executive summaries that communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to clients. Explain local SEO concepts, performance metrics, and strategies during client-facing calls. Use analytics and performance data to identify opportunities for stronger organic search results. Explore AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in a digital marketing agency or multifamily marketing environment. At least 3 years of hands-on organic search experience. Strong understanding of SEO best practices, modern search engine algorithms, and SEO, GEO, and AIO approaches. Knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO and their impact on local search rankings. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to analyze website data and use findings to improve organic search performance. Strong organizational skills, attention to deadlines, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to adapt to a high-growth environment and manage changing priorities. Confidence in communicating campaign performance and SEO strategies to clients. Preferred Qualifications and Technical Skills Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager certifications. Proficiency with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Yext. Experience with database management software. Advanced Google Sheets skills, including creating and troubleshooting custom formulas. Experience creating custom tags in Google Tag Manager to track website conversions and troubleshooting conversion-tracking issues is a plus. Training and Development Agency FIFTY3 provides training in search engine marketing, developing strategies across multiple channels, improving return on investment, and creating tailored reporting and client communications. Salary and Benefits For positions performed in Colorado, the salary range is $51,800–$63,000, plus potential bonus compensation. Eligible employees may participate in the company benefits plan.
