Software Developer II (WFH)
About the Role
Stealth Startup, a technology-driven fintech company focused on modern U.S. consumer credit markets, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to build scalable data and machine learning-driven systems. The company uses proprietary machine learning technology to power predictive analytics, financial modeling, portfolio monitoring, and credit solutions. In this role, you will work closely with quantitative researchers and leadership to develop high-performance systems, build data processing solutions, and contribute to the company's technical strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Build scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines. Develop machine learning-driven financial modeling and analytics tools. Design and optimize high-performance systems. Collaborate with quantitative researchers and leadership. Integrate systems with fintech platforms and financial institutions. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of software development experience. Strong production-level Python skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience mentoring engineers. Experience in fintech or financial modeling. Salary & Benefits Base Salary: $160,000–$250,000 USD, plus performance bonus.
