Software Engineer

About the role One of our Enterprise Tech Clients is looking for a Software Engineer to help design, build and maintain our products. You’ll work on a collaborative team, take ownership of features from start to finish, and help improve the quality and performance of our software as we scale. What you’ll do Design, develop and maintain software applications and features Write clean, efficient, well-documented code Build and integrate APIs and backend services Troubleshoot, debug and fix issues in existing systems Write tests and take part in code reviews to keep quality high Work with product managers, designers and other engineers to plan and deliver projects Contribute ideas to improve our tools, processes and architecture What we’re looking for Multiple years of professional software engineering experience Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# or Go Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) Understanding of APIs, web services and software development best practices Familiarity with version control (Git) Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Clear communication and the ability to work independently in a remote environment Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience Nice to have Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular or Vue) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD pipelines Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams Benefits 100% remote work Competitive salary Health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Professional development and growth opportunities Salary Range: $130,000-170,000
