SPAIN - Spanish-Speaking Insurance Phone Sales Agent (DGSFP 2 or 3) — Remote, Self-Employed
SUMMARY We are hiring phone sales agents for our home and health insurance campaigns in Spain. You work remotely, as a self-employed contractor (autónomo), and choose your own hours within the legal calling window. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Call leads who already requested information or a quote (this is not cold calling from purchased lists). Part of the leads come pre-quoted. - Qualify the prospect: what they need to protect, current policy, renewal date. - Read the mandatory disclosures and record the customer's consent, exactly as scripted. - Present the offer, handle objections, and close the sale. - Log every call and every stage in our platform. No exceptions. - Follow up with leads that did not close on the first call. REQUIREMENTS - Current DGSFP training certificate, Level 2 or Level 3. We will verify it before you start. - Resident in Spain. Native Spanish speaker with clear diction. - Proven experience in phone SALES (insurance, banking, telecom, energy or similar). Customer service only does not qualify. Prior insurance sales is a strong plus. - Registered as self-employed (autónomo), or willing to register when you start. - Stable internet (minimum 20 Mbps) plus a backup connection so you don't drop mid-call. - Noise-cancelling headset with microphone. - Quiet, interruption-free space while you are on calls. Everything is audible on the call. - Computer with at least 8 GB RAM (you will run the platform, dialer and quoting tool at the same time). - Strict data security: no paper notes, no copying or downloading customer data, two-factor authentication. SCHEDULE (Spain time) You choose your hours, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 21:00, which is the window in which the law allows these calls. COMPENSATION Commission-based, paid through Upwork. Full terms in our proposal to shortlisted candidates. Product and platform training before you start dialing. HOW TO APPLY Answer the screening questions AND send a 60-second voice recording where you: 1. Introduce yourself with your name and city. 2. Say your DGSFP level and how long you have been selling by phone, and what product. 3. Read the following opening out loud in Spanish, as if you were speaking to a customer. English translation of the script above: "Good morning, am I speaking with Mrs. García? I'm calling on behalf of your insurance broker, because a few days ago you asked for information about a health insurance policy. Please note this call is recorded for quality purposes. Can I take two minutes to ask you a couple of questions and tell you about the offer — is now a good time?" Proposals without a voice recording will not be reviewed. This is a phone role; we need to hear you.
