Sr.Mainframe Developer

Remote position US Citizens only Must have - " CICS , GitHub & Batch Processing exp " Required Technical Skills COBOL: Strong hands-on experience in COBOL programming, debugging, and application development. CICS: Experience developing and maintaining online transaction processing applications. Batch Processing: Experience developing and supporting batch programs, job execution, scheduling, and troubleshooting. GitHub: Experience with source code repositories, version control, branching, merging, and code collaboration. JCL: Knowledge of Job Control Language for executing and managing mainframe batch jobs. Mainframe Environment: Experience working with IBM z/OS mainframe systems. Testing and Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot application issues, analyze abends, and resolve production defects.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with DB2, VSAM, and SQL. Familiarity with mainframe utilities and job scheduling tools. Experience with tools such as Endevor, Changeman, or similar source code management and deployment tools. Knowledge of mainframe application integration and production support processes. Experience working in Agile development environments and using CI/CD practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
