Storage container Engineer

Job Title: Storage container Engineer Location: 100% Remote Type: Contract Required Qualifications 5+ years of enterprise storage engineering experience, including at least 3+ years with Dell EMC platforms. Strong hands-on expertise in Dell EMC PowerScale/Isilon and OneFS architecture. Experience with SmartPools, SmartQuotas, SyncIQ, InsightIQ, and DataIQ. Hands-on experience deploying and managing Dell EMC ECS (Elastic Cloud Storage). Understanding of object storage architecture, buckets, namespaces, and geo-replication. Advanced knowledge of NFS v3/v4, SMB/CIFS, and S3 APIs. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, LACP, Active Directory, LDAP, and Kerberos. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, including log analysis and performance monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Dell EMC PowerMax, VPLEX, or SAN switches such as Brocade and Cisco MDS. Familiarity with hybrid-cloud storage tiering using CloudPools and AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
