Storytelling & Storywriting Educator
About the opportunity TinyPal is looking to partner with experienced storytelling and drama facilitators who can bring stories to life for young children through interactive online sessions that encourage imagination, language, expression and participation. Our families are spread across the globe, including the US, UK, Australia, Singapore and Canada, so we’re especially keen to hear from facilitators who have already engaged children from different countries and cultures. What you’ll do Conduct interactive storytelling sessions using engaging narratives, characters, puppets, role-play and imaginative scenarios. Develop a progressive programme that encourages children to participate, retell stories, express ideas and create their own narratives. Use age-appropriate techniques to keep children actively involved rather than passively watching a performance. Adapt storytelling formats to children’s developmental levels, interests and attention spans. Make stories and activities inclusive and relatable for children from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. Share simple story-based activities for families to enjoy between sessions. Provide a clear list of materials parents will need to arrange before the programme begins. What we’re looking for A track record of delivering sessions to a global audience of children across countries and time zones. Experience delivering programmes with or for organisations such as online learning platforms, edtech companies, enrichment providers, schools or preschools. Demonstrated ability to engage young children in an online setting. Experience creating or delivering structured, multi-session programmes. Strong understanding of early language development, imagination and age-appropriate participation. Comfort working with children who have different communication styles, confidence levels and attention spans. Clear, warm spoken English that young children from different countries can easily follow. Please also indicate whether you can offer a short introductory or demonstration session, and whether you are open to a pilot engagement before expanding the programme.
