If you thrive on solving high‑stakes, data‑dense problems and want to build systems that directly influence how billions of dollars move across the globe, brighthush is the place for you. We value agency and urgency over pedigree, and we celebrate individuals who own problems end‑to‑end and make consequential decisions that shape outcomes. As a member of our team, you’ll work alongside product, engineering, design, and customer‑success leaders to create products that deliver measurable impact for our clients.
Role Overview
As a Customer Operations Specialist in the Procurement domain, you will be the linchpin that connects customer insights, product strategy, and operational excellence. Your mission is to streamline procurement workflows, reduce friction, and elevate the overall customer experience. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to translate voice‑of‑customer data into actionable product enhancements, manage launch operations for new features, and leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery and maintain a high quality bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Voice‑of‑Customer Champion: Systematically capture, analyze, and prioritize feedback from CX, Sales, and direct customer channels to inform product decisions.
- Product Partner: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to translate qualitative insights into clear requirements, specifications, and user stories.
- Launch Operations Lead: Own the end‑to‑end launch process for new Procurement features, from Alpha to General Availability, ensuring smooth rollout, robust documentation, and comprehensive internal enablement.
- Backlog Steward: Own a dedicated backlog of friction‑reduction initiatives—UX fixes, paper cuts, and process improvements—directly shipping enhancements rather than merely feeding the engineering queue.
- AI‑Powered Process Engineer: Deploy AI tools (e.g., Claude, Code, or similar) to automate data collection, generate insights, and accelerate feature development.
- Operating System Builder: Design scalable operating systems for release readiness, internal enablement, supportability, and issue escalation across Procurement workflows.
- Metrics & Impact Analyst: Track key performance indicators such as support tickets per active user and customer NPS, using data to validate the impact of your initiatives.
- Cross‑Team Facilitator: Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and success metrics.
- Continuous Improvement Advocate: Identify opportunities to refine processes, reduce handoffs, and improve the overall efficiency of the product lifecycle.
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a customer‑facing analytical role within B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record of managing end‑to‑end product launches and driving customer‑centric improvements.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to size opportunities, analyze adoption, support trends, and quantify friction.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a bias toward rapid iteration and measurable impact.
- Experience with procurement, intake and approval workflows, spend management, or financial operations is highly desirable.
- Comfort navigating ambiguous, technically complex environments and translating qualitative feedback into actionable requirements.
- Hands‑on experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Code, or similar) to accelerate work and deliver tangible product improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in finance or accounting, with a deep understanding of spend management and procurement processes.
- Experience building or scaling operating systems for release readiness and supportability.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and SQL for data analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial operations (PCI, SOX, GDPR).
- Experience working in a fast‑paced startup environment with rapid product iteration cycles.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Customer‑Obsessed Mindset: Deep empathy for users and a relentless drive to eliminate friction.
- Data‑Driven Decision Making: Ability to turn metrics into actionable insights.
- Product Lifecycle Management: End‑to‑end ownership of feature development, launch, and post‑launch optimization.
- AI & Automation Proficiency: Leveraging AI to streamline processes and enhance product capabilities.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Building consensus across Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Problem‑Solving & Prioritization: Tackling complex challenges with clear, pragmatic solutions.
