Founded on a foundation of radical honesty, customer obsession, purposeful action, and collective growth, brighthush has cultivated a culture where innovation meets impact. We are a remote‑first, async‑friendly organization that values deep work, ownership, and continuous learning. Our team is diverse, collaborative, and relentlessly focused on delivering measurable outcomes for our clients.

Why brighthush?

  • Fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment where your ideas shape the product roadmap.
  • Remote‑first culture with flexible schedules, asynchronous communication, and a strong emphasis on work‑life balance.
  • Opportunities to work closely with senior leadership, product, and engineering teams to influence strategy.
  • Comprehensive benefits package: health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous paid time off, and equity.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion – we celebrate varied perspectives and foster a sense of belonging.

Role Overview

As a Strategic Enterprise Customer Success Manager at brighthush, you will own a portfolio of our largest, most complex customer accounts. You will be the primary advocate for these clients, ensuring they achieve their business objectives through our platform while driving renewal, expansion, and adoption. Your influence will shape the enterprise customer experience and set the standard for named coverage across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Named Book Ownership – Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of a high‑value book: relationship management, renewal strategy, expansion initiatives, and overall health.
  • Executive Relationship Building – Cultivate relationships with owners, directors of pre‑construction, and C‑level sponsors who drive purchasing decisions.
  • Renewals & Retention – Lead renewal conversations early, identify risk signals before they manifest in usage, and design recovery plans that secure gross and net retention.
  • Expansion & Growth – Identify opportunities for additional seats, new offices or divisions, and cross‑product adoption (e.g., Build & Operate, Takeoff & Estimate). Partner with Sales to close commercial expansion deals.
  • Onboarding & Adoption – Orchestrate seamless onboarding for new strategic accounts, ensuring adoption across all teams that interact with brighthush.
  • Success Planning & Business Reviews – Develop account plans with clear, measurable goals; conduct quarterly business reviews with customer leadership to track progress and uncover new opportunities.
  • Health Monitoring – Track health signals (usage, support tickets, NPS, etc.), spot risk trends early, and take proactive actions.
  • Voice of the Customer – Gather structured feedback, advocate for customer priorities on the product roadmap, and influence feature development.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination – Partner with Sales, Support, CS Ops, and Product to ensure smooth handoffs, escalations, and signal management.
  • Forecasting & Reporting – Maintain accurate renewal and expansion forecasts; present insights in pod forecast reviews.

First 90 Days

  • Meet your book: connect with primary contacts and executive sponsors for Tier 1 accounts within the first 60 days; then tier the book by risk and growth potential.
  • Build account plans: publish written success plans for each top‑tier account, aligning goals with customer expectations.
  • Secure renewal runway: document renewal plans for all accounts renewing within the next 180 days, detailing owners, risks, and next steps.
  • Conduct first business reviews: lead quarterly reviews with top accounts, capturing outcomes in a repeatable template.
  • Contribute to signal library: collaborate with your manager to define the most critical health signals for named accounts.
  • Refine Sales handoff: agree on a handoff checklist with Sales to ensure every enterprise deal starts with context, not a cold intro.

Essential Qualifications

  • 4+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar customer‑facing role in B2B SaaS, with at least 2 years owning enterprise or strategic accounts.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal, net retention, and expansion targets.
  • Executive presence: comfortable leading business reviews with owners or C‑level sponsors and steering conversations toward outcomes.
  • Commercial instincts: ability to spot expansion opportunities, build business cases, and navigate tough renewals.
  • Strong organizational skills: manage multiple stakeholders and priorities without letting accounts go quiet.
  • Data‑driven mindset: read dashboards, spot risk trends, and act decisively.
  • Process builder: create playbooks where none exist, and continuously refine them.
  • Excellent communication: clear, confident, and persuasive with customers, internal teams, and leadership.
  • Experience in construction, real estate, or another vertical SaaS market is a plus, but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in the construction or real‑estate technology space.
  • Experience working in a high‑growth startup environment.
  • Knowledge of SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, and LTV.
  • Familiarity with CRM and CS tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight, HubSpot).
  • Comfort with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinking and execution.
  • Relationship building across all organizational levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills.
  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making under ambiguity.
  • Project management and prioritization.
  • Customer‑centric mindset and empathy.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast‑moving environment.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

At brighthush, your growth is a priority. As a Strategic Enterprise Customer Success Manager, you will:

  • Progress to senior Customer Success leadership roles (e.g., Director of Enterprise Success, VP of Customer Success).
  • Gain cross‑functional exposure to product, engineering, and sales, positioning you for broader strategic roles.
  • Participate in leadership development programs, mentorship, and continuous learning initiatives.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our enterprise strategy, influencing product roadmap and go‑to‑market plans.

We offer a competitive total rewards package that includes:
