Strategic Growth Customer Success Manager – Enterprise Cyber‑Risk Remediation, Expansion & Executive Partnership Lead
About brighthush
brighthush is redefining the way organizations tackle cyber risk. While many security solutions stop at identifying vulnerabilities, brighthush goes a step further—delivering an Autonomous Remediation Platform that actively fixes problems. By continuously and safely reducing exposure, the platform remediates vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, closes patching gaps, hardens systems, enforces compliance, governs applications, and even controls AI‑related risk. The technology blends deep dependency awareness, pre‑execution validation, automated remediation, and instant rollback, allowing enterprises to eliminate risk across endpoints, servers, applications, and AI systems without disrupting business operations.
Founded in 2019, brighthush grew from a bootstrapped, profitable startup into a market‑leading cyber‑risk partner. After a successful early phase, the company raised a $65 million Series A round led by brighthush. Today, more than 300 enterprise organizations—spanning industries such as consumer goods, healthcare, and technology—trust brighthush to protect over three million devices worldwide. Global brands like brighthush, brighthush, brighthush, and brighthush rely on brighthush every day to keep their digital environments secure.
As brighthush continues to expand its platform and global footprint, we are looking for exceptional talent who want to own strategic relationships, solve high‑impact challenges, and shape the next chapter of our growth story.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Strategic Growth Customer Success Manager who will be the senior owner of a portfolio of 8‑12 of brighthush’s largest and most strategic enterprise customers, representing $3.5 million+ in annual recurring revenue (ARR). These accounts are complex, multinational organizations with multiple buying centers and executive stakeholders who expect a true partner—not just a vendor. Your mission is to prove the value of brighthush’s remediation platform at the executive level, quarter after quarter, while expanding our footprint across each customer’s business.
This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role that reports directly to the VP of Customer Success. You will lead cross‑functional account teams, craft multi‑year success plans, drive expansion, and mentor the next generation of Customer Success Managers (CSMs). Travel is up to 20 % and includes on‑site executive business reviews and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Executive Relationships: Build trusted, strategic relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and senior IT/security leaders. Extend influence beyond security into IT operations, infrastructure, risk, compliance, and procurement.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop joint, multi‑year success plans tied to each customer’s business outcomes. Review and adjust these plans quarterly with the account team and brighthush leadership.
- Lead Cross‑Functional Teams: Quarterback Technical Account Managers, Sales, Solutions Engineers, and executive sponsors around a single, cohesive plan so the customer experiences a unified brighthush partnership.
- Identify & Capture Expansion Opportunities: Map whitespace across business units, regions, devices, and platform capabilities. Open new buying centers, build compelling business cases, and secure funding for expansion.
- Drive Complex Renewals: Lead multi‑year, multi‑stakeholder renewal cycles, navigating procurement, legal, and channel partners. Initiate the process 180 days out and use the MEDDPICC methodology to qualify and close.
- Executive Business Reviews: Quantify risk eliminated, operational time returned, and ROI achieved. Present these metrics in compelling executive business reviews that reinforce the partnership.
- Escalation Management: Own the response when issues arise, mobilize the right resources quickly, and preserve the executive relationship with steady judgment.
- Accurate Forecasting: Keep the CRM up‑to‑date, forecast renewals and expansions with precision, and flag risk early with a recovery plan attached.
- Team & Product Influence: Mentor junior CSMs, contribute to brighthush’s customer success playbooks, provide strategic feedback to Product, and help shape the customer advisory board and reference program.
How Success Is Measured
- Gross Revenue Retention (GRR): Maintain high levels of retained revenue across the portfolio.
- Net Revenue Retention (NRR): Drive expansion revenue that exceeds churn, delivering net growth from existing accounts.
- Early Renewals: Secure renewals ahead of schedule, reducing risk and improving cash flow.
- Customer Health Scores: Consistently achieve strong health metrics through adoption, satisfaction, and value realization.
Essential Qualifications
