About brighthush – Pioneering Autonomous Cyber‑Risk Remediation

At brighthush, we are redefining how organizations protect themselves against the ever‑evolving landscape of cyber threats. While most security solutions stop at identifying vulnerabilities, brighthush goes a step further: we automatically remediate them. Our Autonomous Remediation Platform continuously scans, validates, and fixes vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, patch gaps, compliance issues, and even AI‑related risks—without disrupting day‑to‑day operations.

Founded in 2019 as a bootstrapped, profitable venture, brighthush quickly earned the trust of large‑scale enterprises and secured a $65 million Series A round led by brighthush. Today, more than 300 global organizations rely on brighthush to safeguard over 3 million devices, spanning industries from consumer goods to healthcare.

As we accelerate our product roadmap and expand our worldwide footprint, we are looking for visionary leaders who thrive on ownership, love solving complex challenges, and want to shape the next chapter of brighthush’s growth story.

Why This Role Matters

The Strategic Growth Customer Success Manager is a senior, revenue‑impacting position that owns a portfolio of 8‑12 of brighthush’s largest and most strategic enterprise accounts—collectively representing more than $3.5 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). These accounts are global powerhouses with intricate technology stacks, multiple buying centers, and executive stakeholders who expect a true partner, not a vendor.

Your mission is to prove the strategic value of brighthush at the C‑suite level quarter after quarter, while expanding our footprint across each customer’s organization. You will be the senior owner of each relationship, the architect of multi‑year success plans, and the leader of cross‑functional account teams that include Technical Account Managers, Sales, and Solutions Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs, and senior IT & security leaders.
  • Multi‑thread beyond the primary security contact into IT operations, infrastructure, risk, compliance, and procurement.
  • Serve as the single point of escalation, delivering calm, decisive action when challenges arise.

Strategic Account Planning & Execution

  • Craft joint, multi‑year success plans that align brighthush’s capabilities with each customer’s business outcomes.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with the account team and brighthush leadership to assess progress, ROI, and risk reduction.
  • Map “whitespace” opportunities across business units, regions, device types, and platform capabilities, turning them into funded expansion projects.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Quarterback Technical Account Managers, Sales, Solutions Engineers, and executive sponsors around a unified plan.
  • Ensure the customer experiences a seamless, single‑voice brighthush partnership.
  • Mentor junior Customer Success Managers, contribute to playbook development, and help shape the overall CS methodology.

Revenue Growth & Retention

  • Drive multi‑year, multi‑stakeholder renewals using a disciplined MEDDPICC framework, beginning the process at least 180 days in advance.
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities, delivering measurable increases in net revenue retention (NRR) and gross revenue retention (GRR).
  • Accurately forecast revenue, maintain an up‑to‑date CRM, and flag risk early with actionable recovery plans.

Product & Market Influence

  • Channel strategic customer feedback to brighthush product teams, influencing roadmap priorities.
  • Help build and moderate a customer advisory board and reference program, turning satisfied clients into brand advocates.
  • Represent brighthush at industry events (e.g., brighthush conferences, brighthush regional gatherings, and the annual brighthush Sales Kickoff).

How Success Is Measured

Performance will be evaluated against three core metrics:

  • Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) – maintaining existing contract value.
  • Net Revenue Retention (NRR) – capturing expansion and upsell revenue.
  • Early Renewal Rate – securing renewals ahead of schedule.

Given the size of each account, a single win or loss can materially impact brighthush’s overall retention numbers, underscoring the strategic importance of this role.

First 90 Days – Your Roadmap to Impact

Days 1‑30: Immersion & Relationship Mapping

  • Deep‑dive into brighthush’s platform, technology stack, and buyer personas.
  • Meet executive sponsors and key stakeholders at each assigned account.
  • Build a comprehensive stakeholder map, assess current adoption, risk posture, and identify initial whitespace.

Days 31‑90: Planning, Review, and Early Wins

  • Deliver a strategic account plan for every portfolio company, reviewed with brighthush leadership.
  • Conduct or schedule executive business reviews, showcasing risk reduction and ROI.
  • Stage renewals according to the brighthush playbook and qualify an expansion pipeline.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or enterprise SaaS sales, with at least 3 years managing strategic Fortune 500 or Global 2000 accounts.
  • Proven track record of growing large accounts through multi‑year renewals and significant expansion.
  • Executive presence and credibility when interacting with CISOs, CIOs, and other senior leaders.
  • Deep domain knowledge in vulnerability management, exposure management, patch management, or endpoint management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build multi‑year account plans and navigate complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Hands‑on experience with a structured sales methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC) and disciplined forecasting.
  • High‑growth, startup mindset—self‑directed, urgent, and comfortable building something new.

Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have) Experience

  • Experience designing or scaling a strategic/enterprise Customer Success motion.
  • Mentoring or leading a team of Customer Success Managers.
  • Collaboration with global system integrators, resellers, or managed security service providers on enterprise renewals.
  • Running customer advisory boards or reference programs.
  • Familiarity with the endpoint security, EDR/XDR, or exposure management ecosystems.

  • Generous paid time off, parental leave, and flexible work‑from‑home policies.
  • Professional development budget, certification sponsorship, and access to industry conferences (including brighthush‑hosted events).
  • Wellness programs, employee assistance resources, and a collaborative, inclusive culture that celebrates diversity.
