Tax Manager (CPA) | Remote

🌍 Remote · United States 💼 Full-time

All About Businesses is hiring a CPA to run our Tax Department and file all of our clients' tax returns: you will own every tax filing and agency response, plan ahead with clients, and advise our bookkeeping team.

About Us

All About Businesses is a virtual bookkeeping, accounting, and tax firm serving businesses across Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, and the greater Pacific Northwest. Allison Wolf, a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, founded the firm in 2016 and has owned and operated bookkeeping and tax firms since 2011. We built the firm on three pillars: personalized business bookkeeping, expertise you can count on, and honest, reliable service. Our team includes an in-house CPA, so bookkeeping and tax work stay seamlessly under one roof. The Role You will run the Tax Department at All About Businesses and file all of our clients' tax returns: every tax structure we serve, every estimated payment, and every letter to the IRS and state agencies. You report to the Owner and work side by side with our bookkeeping team, advising them so the books are ready for tax time all year long. This role starts small and grows quickly: you will take over our tax return work in phases, and you will launch year-round tax planning for our clients. Our clients trust us with their money and their tax decisions. We need a CPA who earns that trust by giving clear advice, putting it in writing, and following up until it is done. As a virtual company, you will do this remotely and over Zoom, with amazing customer service. Tax Structures You Will Own You own every return and tax below, from setup through filing and follow-up.
