REMOTE TAX PREPARATION OPPORTUNITY-FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE AND TAX SOFTWARE

This remote, performance-based tax preparation opportunity is designed for experienced tax professionals, financial services professionals, and motivated individuals interested in learning the tax preparation and financial services industry. Work from home with a flexible schedule, use available tax preparation software and operational tools, and independently develop and manage a client base serving individual taxpayers, small businesses, and specialized tax clients. Earnings are not guaranteed and depend on the applicable compensation arrangement and work performed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic and complex individual tax returns, business returns, and mixed return types.
• Conduct client intake and gather accurate financial and tax documentation.
• Maintain organized records and use document management systems to support client files.
• Use tax preparation platforms and software to complete and process returns.
• Serve individual taxpayers, small businesses, and specialized tax clients.
• Build and manage client relationships through networking, sales, customer service, and business development activities.
• Track leads and client activity using CRM and lead-tracking tools.
• Manage an independent, flexible work schedule and develop a personal client base.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work independently, communicate professionally, build client relationships, and manage a personal schedule.
• Individuals performing Electronic Return Originator duties must meet applicable registration and authorization requirements.
• Willingness to develop knowledge of tax preparation processes and software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an Electronic Return Originator, PTIN holder, tax preparer, tax accountant, or accounting professional.
• Experience in financial services, customer service, sales, networking, or business development.
• Familiarity with tax preparation platforms, document management systems, CRM tools, or lead tracking.
• Interest in structured mentorship, self-directed learning, peer coaching, or an advanced certification pathway.

Remote tax software training is available. The next training program is scheduled to begin in September 2027 and will be held remotely every Saturday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time. Apply To This Job
