Tax Technology Specialist

About the Opportunity: The TAX TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST role is critical to ensuring client firms successfully adopt and utilize the organization's tax software solutions. This position manages the onboarding process for multiple firms simultaneously, providing technical demonstrations, training, and ongoing support to help firms integrate and benefit from the technology. The specialist acts as a key liaison between clients and product teams to drive user success and feedback integration. Responsibilities: Lead technical demos on customer calls showcasing the product's capabilities Manage group onboarding for 5 to 10 firms over an 8-week period Serve as the main contact ensuring firms achieve effective use of the software Deliver webinars and training sessions to educate firm users Translate customer feedback to engineering and product teams Monitor outputs to ensure quality and accuracy Requirements: Experience preparing or reviewing tax returns within a professional firm Expertise in either individual returns (1040) or business returns (1065, 1120, 1120-S, 990, 1041), sufficient to gain partner-level respect Comfortable engaging with customers in demos, training, and escalations Familiarity with major tax platforms such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProConnect, Drake, or GoSystem Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools Preferred experience with implementations of SurePrep, GruntWorx, or AutoFlow Strong interpersonal skills including comfort with ambiguity, empathy, curiosity, and collaboration Pay Range and Compensation Package: The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
