Vice President of Digital Marketing

Role Description The Vice President of Digital Marketing is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the organization’s digital marketing strategy and execution. This position oversees the planning and implementation of multi-channel campaigns, including web, email, social media, and paid media, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing strategic marketing plans, guiding market research initiatives, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing campaigns based on data insights. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, manages external agencies and vendors, and ensures consistent messaging and brand positioning across all digital touchpoints. The Vice President of Digital Marketing also mentors and develops the marketing team, manages budgets, and presents key findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Market Planning and Marketing Management to design and oversee comprehensive digital marketing strategies. Candidates should possess skills in Market Research and Marketing to analyze target audiences, identify trends, and inform campaign development. Candidates should possess skills in Public Relations to manage brand reputation and coordinate communications across digital and traditional channels. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., marketing automation, analytics, CRM, social media management) is highly beneficial. Demonstrated leadership experience managing marketing teams and cross-functional initiatives in a remote or distributed environment. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous. Experience in senior-level digital marketing roles, preferably within service-oriented or B2B organizations.
