Vice President of Global Business Architecture
Role Description The Vice President of Global Business Architecture is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and optimizing the organization’s global business operating model. This position leads the design of end-to-end business architectures, aligning strategy, processes, data, and technology to support climateopticspk’s growth and impact objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed business and financial analyses, evaluating global market opportunities, and developing frameworks that connect business capabilities to strategic priorities. The role oversees complex, cross-border projects, coordinates with finance, sales, operations, and technology teams, and ensures consistent execution of business architecture standards. The Vice President also mentors regional leaders, establishes governance structures, tracks performance metrics, and recommends improvements to drive scalability, profitability, and long-term resilience.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and business analysis expertise to assess global markets, operating models, and performance data. Robust finance and financial modeling capabilities to evaluate investments, forecast outcomes, and support strategic decision-making. Proven project management experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across regions and functions. Demonstrated sales and commercial acumen, with the ability to align business architecture with revenue growth strategies. Experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or strategy consulting in a global or multi-country context. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence executive and cross-functional teams. Background in climate, sustainability, or related sectors is advantageous but not required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred. Comfort working remotely across time zones, with strong self-management, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
