Role Description The Vice President of Global Operations is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end operations across Orum Azaran Shams’ global trading activities. This role involves directing international supply chain activities, aligning operational processes with strategic business goals, and ensuring consistent service quality and compliance in all regions. The Vice President will lead cross-functional teams, develop and implement operational frameworks, monitor performance metrics, and manage key projects related to efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with regional partners and internal stakeholders, improving processes for import/export workflows, supporting strategic initiatives in new and existing markets, and driving operational excellence to support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Demonstrated strength in Operations Management and Operational Excellence, with experience designing and improving global processes. Proficiency in Supply Chain Management, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and optimization of international trade flows. Ability in Strategic Planning to translate business objectives into operational roadmaps and measurable performance targets. Solid Project Management skills to lead complex, multi-country initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation. Extensive experience in global operations or international trade, preferably across multiple product categories or industries. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with comfort using data and KPIs to guide actions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead diverse, remote teams and build effective stakeholder relationships. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, risk management, and international trade regulations is highly beneficial.
