Vice President of Operations

Role Description The Vice President of Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and ensuring organizational efficiency. This position will lead operational planning, implement processes and controls, and support P&L oversight in alignment with strategic goals. The role includes managing cross-functional projects, coordinating with investment and portfolio support teams, and optimizing workflows to support early-stage deeptech investments. The Vice President of Operations will also monitor operational performance, develop metrics and reporting, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service quality and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications

Strong Operations Management skills, including process design, optimization, and implementation. Demonstrated experience in P&L Management and financial oversight to support strategic and operational decisions. Customer Service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Strategic Planning capabilities, including setting operational priorities and aligning initiatives with company objectives. Project Management skills for leading cross-functional projects, managing timelines, and delivering outcomes. Experience in asset management, venture capital, private equity, or startup operations is highly beneficial. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and data-driven thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus. Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively across distributed teams. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
