Vice President of Products

Role Description The Vice President of Products is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across U.S. Bancorp & Capital Trust’s portfolio of financial and advisory solutions. This individual will oversee end-to-end product management, from market research and opportunity assessment through design, development, launch, and lifecycle optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product strategies aligned with business goals, prioritizing features and initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring products meet regulatory, risk, and client requirements. The role involves close collaboration with executive leadership, investment and advisory teams, technology partners, and external stakeholders to drive innovation, profitability, and client satisfaction. The Vice President of Products will also track product performance, use data to inform decision-making, and continuously refine offerings to remain competitive in global financial markets.

Qualifications

Strong product strategy and product management skills, with demonstrated experience crafting product roadmaps and driving execution. Proficiency in product development and analytical skills, including market analysis, financial modeling, and data-driven decision-making. Experience in cross-functional team leadership, effectively partnering with operations, technology, marketing, risk, and compliance teams. Background in financial services, investment banking, private equity, or related sectors, preferably with exposure to global or offshore markets. Proven track record in leading product portfolios at a senior level, ideally in B2B or institutional financial products. Comfort working in a remote, distributed environment, with strong self-management, organization, and strategic planning capabilities.
