Vice President of Project Management

Role Description The Vice President of Project Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and coordinating key initiatives across Trio Impact Invest’s portfolio and internal operations. This position leads project and program planning for investment-related activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met for due diligence, portfolio support, and strategic projects. The role includes establishing project management standards, monitoring progress, and reporting outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders. Daily responsibilities involve collaborating with investment teams and startup founders, managing cross-functional project teams, mitigating risks, and continuously improving processes and tools to support efficient execution. The Vice President also contributes to strategic decision-making by providing clear project insights and recommendations aligned with the company’s deeptech investment goals.

Qualifications

Strong Project Management and Project Planning skills to lead complex initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams. Program Management experience to oversee multiple concurrent projects, align priorities, and manage dependencies across the portfolio. Analytical Skills and Budgeting capabilities to assess project feasibility, manage financial resources, and support data-driven decisions. Proven leadership experience in investment, innovation, or technology-driven environments, ideally with exposure to startups or deeptech sectors. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present project status and recommendations to executive leadership. Experience implementing project management frameworks and tools in a remote or distributed team setting. Relevant academic background in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage. Ability to work independently, adapt to evolving priorities, and maintain a structured, outcome-focused approach.
