Vice President of Quality Assurance

Role Description The Vice President of Quality Assurance is a full-time, remote role responsible for establishing and leading the quality function across Trio Impact Invest’s operations and investment processes. This position oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management frameworks, ensuring consistency, reliability, and compliance in internal procedures and portfolio oversight. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining quality standards, developing and maintaining quality policies and documentation, conducting internal audits, and monitoring adherence to regulatory and industry requirements relevant to asset management and deeptech investments. The Vice President will collaborate with investment, legal, and operations teams to embed quality practices into due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and reporting workflows, and will provide guidance and training to team members on quality best practices. The role also includes analyzing quality metrics, identifying risks, recommending corrective actions, and presenting quality performance updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with the ability to design and implement organization-wide quality frameworks. Practical experience in Quality Control to monitor processes and outputs, and ensure alignment with defined standards. Experience in Quality Auditing, including planning, executing, and reporting on internal and external quality audits. Strong understanding of Regulatory Requirements relevant to asset management, compliance, and risk management. Proven leadership experience in a quality-focused role, ideally within financial services, technology, or deeptech-related organizations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or a related discipline; professional certifications in quality or compliance are an advantage.
