Vice President of Retail Operations

Role Description This full-time, remote Vice President of Retail Operations role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end retail performance, driving profitable growth, and ensuring an excellent customer experience across all channels. The role includes leading store and field operations, setting performance targets, and monitoring key metrics to optimize sales, margin, and operational efficiency. The Vice President will collaborate with cross-functional teams in merchandising, marketing, finance, and supply chain to align retail strategies and initiatives with broader business goals. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing store performance and P&L reports, developing and implementing operational standards, coaching and supporting regional and store leaders, and leading strategic projects such as new store formats or process improvements. The role also entails building data-driven action plans, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in P&L Management and Finance, with the ability to interpret financial statements and drive profitable growth. Deep experience in Retail operations and sales environments, including multi-location or multi-channel retail management. Proven Strategic Planning skills, with the ability to design and execute long-term retail strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Demonstrated Sales leadership capabilities, including setting targets, optimizing performance, and developing sales-focused initiatives. Experience leading senior-level teams, coaching managers, and building inclusive, high-performing cultures. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in using data and KPIs to guide actions. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across multiple departments and levels.
