Role Description The Vice President of Risk Management is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the design, implementation, and oversight of the company’s enterprise-wide risk management framework. This role involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring key risks across operations, technology, finance, and market exposure, while partnering with senior leadership to align risk strategy with business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing risk policies and procedures, performing risk assessments, establishing risk metrics and reporting, and recommending mitigation plans. The Vice President of Risk Management will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed risk awareness into decision-making, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and present clear risk insights to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Enterprise Risk Management skills to design and maintain a comprehensive risk framework across the organization. Candidates should possess expertise in Market Risk and related Financial Services domains to evaluate external and internal risk drivers impacting business performance. Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge to interpret financial data, assess risk impact on financial results, and support strategic planning. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and develop actionable risk mitigation strategies. Extensive experience in senior risk management or leadership roles, preferably within technology, software, or digital services organizations. Proven ability to collaborate with executive teams, communicate risk insights clearly, and influence strategic decisions. Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to digital and financial services environments. Advanced degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
