Vice President of Sales

Role Description The Vice President of Sales is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the sales organization, setting strategic direction, and achieving revenue and growth targets. This role oversees sales planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking, while guiding sales managers and account teams to meet and exceed goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, supporting key account management activities, and driving new business development initiatives. The Vice President of Sales will collaborate with cross-functional leaders in marketing, finance, operations, and product to align sales efforts with broader business objectives. This position also focuses on optimizing sales operations, refining processes and metrics, and mentoring sales professionals to build a high-performing and inclusive sales culture.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of leading teams to meet or exceed revenue targets. Strong background in Account Management, including building and maintaining long-term client relationships and strategic partnerships. Experience in Sales Operations, such as pipeline management, forecasting, performance analysis, and process optimization. Proven Business Development skills, including identifying new markets, creating growth strategies, and closing complex deals. Experience managing remote or distributed sales teams, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop talent across multiple locations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and clients. Data-driven mindset, comfortable using CRM and analytics tools to inform decisions and improve sales performance. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial. Background in a high-growth or technology-focused environment is a plus.
