Role Description The VP of Market Access Technology is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the strategy, design, and implementation of technology solutions that support market access initiatives for Ordway’s clients. This position oversees the development and integration of platforms and tools used for pricing, reimbursement, payer engagement, and data analytics related to market access. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to understand business requirements, defining technology roadmaps, and guiding solution architecture and delivery. The role also involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and security standards, and continuously improving systems performance and user experience. The VP will mentor team members, establish best practices, and contribute to business development by supporting proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership in market access technology.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in market access, health technology, or related IT consulting, including responsibility for strategy, solution design, and implementation. Strong background in technology platforms and architectures used for analytics, pricing, reimbursement, and payer or provider engagement, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Proficiency in managing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration with stakeholders, and driving projects from concept through execution in a remote environment. Experience with data governance, security, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance processes in healthcare or life sciences markets is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and represent the company in senior-level discussions. Proven track record of working in agile, fast-paced consulting or IT services environments, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Advanced degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Comfort with remote work tools and practices, including virtual collaboration, documentation, and performance management across distributed teams.
