Vice President of Services
Role Description The Vice President of Services is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading service operations, strategy, and delivery across multiple regions and business lines. This position oversees the design and execution of service models, ensures consistent customer experience, and drives continuous improvement in performance, quality, and efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting service objectives, aligning operational plans with corporate strategy, managing budgets, and monitoring key performance indicators. The role involves coaching and developing service leadership teams, collaborating with finance, sales, product, and operations, and managing vendor and partner relationships. The Vice President of Services will also lead major transformation initiatives, support digital and process modernization, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, develop insights, and support decision-making. Demonstrated experience in finance and budgeting, including P&L management and resource allocation for large service organizations. Proven expertise in strategic planning, with a track record of designing and implementing long-term service strategies and transformation initiatives. Advanced team leadership capabilities, including building, mentoring, and managing diverse, distributed teams at the executive level. Background in service operations or customer success within large, complex enterprises; experience in one or more of the relevant industries (energy, pharma, technology, healthcare, agribusiness) is beneficial. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. Comfort working in remote, global environments and collaborating across time zones and cultures. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
