Vice President of Strategic Accounts

Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Accounts is a part-time, remote role responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with key investor and entrepreneur accounts within the Novem Invest community. This role oversees strategic account planning, identifies growth opportunities, and ensures that partner needs are understood and addressed through tailored engagement and investment collaboration. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading account meetings, coordinating cross-functional efforts to support strategic partners, negotiating and reviewing key agreements, and tracking performance against relationship and revenue goals. The Vice President will also contribute to the evolution of Novem Invest’s community model by sharing market insights, refining sales and account processes, and supporting initiatives that enhance member experience and long-term value creation.

Qualifications

Strong Account Management skills, including relationship building, stakeholder management, and long-term strategic planning. Demonstrated success in Business Development and Sales, with experience identifying, qualifying, and closing strategic opportunities. Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with the ability to structure terms that align with both partner and organizational objectives. Experience in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance reporting. Background in investment, venture capital, private equity, or angel investing is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders. Strategic thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret market trends and portfolio performance data. Comfort working remotely, with strong self-management, collaboration, and digital tools proficiency. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
