Vice President of Strategic Operations
Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational performance and long-term strategic initiatives. This position leads cross-functional teams to improve processes, optimize resource allocation, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing operational plans, monitoring key performance indicators, managing budgets and P&L, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and growth. The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership to drive strategic planning, supporting large-scale projects from concept through implementation, and maintaining high standards of customer experience. The Vice President of Strategic Operations will mentor team members, establish best practices, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, performance measurement, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should possess experience in P&L Management, financial analysis, and budget oversight to support data-driven decision-making. Candidates should possess Customer Service expertise, with a focus on service quality, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of client or stakeholder experiences. Candidates should possess Strategic Planning capabilities, such as setting long-term objectives, evaluating market trends, and aligning operations with organizational vision. Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in executive leadership, change management, and scaling operations in complex or growing organizations. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment.
