Vice President Operations

Role Description This full-time remote role of Vice President Operations at Türkiye Öğrenci Senatosu / Student Senate of Türkiye (Turkish Student Senate) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operational activities across the organization. The Vice President Operations will develop and implement operational plans, align workflows with strategic goals, and coordinate cross-functional projects to support student-focused initiatives. This role will lead and mentor operations teams, establish performance metrics, and ensure consistent, high-quality services to students and stakeholders. The position includes managing budgets related to operations, monitoring financial performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The Vice President Operations will collaborate closely with executive leadership, communicate regularly with internal and external partners, and drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and policies.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and cross-functional coordination. Candidates should possess solid P&L Management abilities, including budgeting, financial monitoring, and cost control. Candidates should possess a high level of Customer Service skills, with a focus on stakeholder satisfaction and service quality. Candidates should possess Strategic Planning capabilities, including goal setting, prioritization, and execution of long-term initiatives. Candidates should possess robust Project Management skills, including planning, tracking, and delivering complex projects on time and within scope. Candidates should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote and multicultural environments. Candidates should demonstrate leadership experience, including team management, performance coaching, and change management. Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in business, management, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Candidates should be proficient in using digital collaboration tools and data analysis to inform operational decisions.
