Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance across LoftMax’s interior design and fitout projects. This role will lead end-to-end operations, including resource planning, workflow optimization, and coordination between design, project management, procurement, and installation teams. The Vice President Operations will manage budgets and P&L for the operations function, ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery, and uphold service and quality standards for commercial and residential clients. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, monitoring KPIs, improving processes, and addressing operational risks. The role will also provide leadership and coaching to cross-functional teams, support business growth initiatives, and collaborate with senior leadership on long-term planning.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, resource planning, and performance monitoring. Candidates should possess experience in P&L Management, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for operational functions. Candidates should possess a customer-focused mindset with demonstrated Customer Service capabilities in managing client expectations and resolving issues. Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills, including setting operational goals, aligning with business strategy, and driving continuous improvement. Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery within time and budget constraints. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage. Proven leadership experience in operations roles, ideally within interior design, construction, fitout, or related project-based industries. Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in relevant project and operations tools and software. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead remote and cross-cultural teams.
