Vice President, Quality Assurance (North America)

Role Description The Vice President, Quality Assurance (North America) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and advancing quality strategies across products, services, and operations in the region. This position leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing QA teams, reviewing quality metrics, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional leaders to integrate quality into product development, service delivery, and customer experience, as well as driving corrective and preventive actions based on audits and performance data. The Vice President will also mentor QA professionals, manage vendor and partner quality performance, and report on quality outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with the ability to design and refine quality systems and frameworks. Strong experience in Quality Control practices, including setting standards, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements. Proficiency in Quality Auditing, including planning audits, leading audit teams, and translating findings into actionable initiatives. In-depth knowledge of Regulatory Requirements relevant to North American operations, and experience ensuring compliance across diverse offerings. Proven leadership experience in senior quality roles, preferably in product- or service-focused organizations. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage distributed teams, and collaborate across functions and regions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a track record of using data to drive decisions. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Engineering, Quality Management, or Business); advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma) are beneficial.
