The mission is to make it easier to learn, create, connect, grow, and find opportunities. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Volunteer Marketer and Video Editor at Lynktik. The role involves planning, creating, and publishing marketing content for social media, email campaigns, and the Lynktik platform to increase awareness and engagement. The Volunteer Marketer and Video Editor will script, record, and edit short- and long-form videos that showcase platform features, user stories, and educational content. Daily tasks include collaborating with the team to refine messaging, optimizing content for different channels, monitoring performance metrics, and iterating on campaigns based on feedback and data. The person in this role will also help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all marketing and video assets.
Qualifications
Ability to create and edit engaging video content using common video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Experience developing marketing content for digital channels, including social media platforms, email, and community-based platforms. Strong storytelling, copywriting, and visual communication skills, with an eye for pacing, structure, and audience engagement. Basic understanding of content strategy, audience targeting, and performance metrics for marketing and video campaigns. Comfort collaborating in a remote environment, managing time effectively, and handling multiple projects independently. Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation tools and an interest in experimenting with new features on Lynktik. Excellent written and spoken English, with attention to detail and a commitment to inclusive, respectful communication. Prior experience in marketing, communications, film, media, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio or samples of past work are strongly preferred.
