Job Title: Windchill Architect & Solutions Consultant Location: Stamford, CT 06901 Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Open to Fully Remote) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12+ months Domain: Discrete Manufacturing & Engineering / Enterprise Software Pay Rate: $63.00/hr W2 | $76.00/hr C2C Application Deadline: Oct 29th 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED Primary (Must-Have): PTC Windchill Architecture (PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink) Enterprise CAD Integrations & CAD Worker Setup (Creo, Office Worker) SSO & SSL System Configuration, Vault Configurations & Cluster Setups Windchill Upgrade Planning, Rehearsals, Runbook Preparation & WinDU Analysis Enterprise Integrations (ERP - SAP ECC/S4, MES, CPQ) & ESI Integration Java/J2EE, SQL, Spring, Hibernate & Windchill Customization Secondary (Good to Have) Windchill Bulk Migration System Performance Tuning & Optimization Technical Governance & Junior Developer Mentorship POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the Enterprise Applications Delivery Leadership within the Information Technology department, the Senior Windchill System Consultant will drive the high-level architecture, upgrade execution, and enterprise integration of the PTC Windchill environment. The incumbent will solve complex product lifecycle management challenges, ensure seamless interoperability across CAD, ERP (SAP ECC/S4), MES, and CPQ platforms, and execute mission-critical system upgrades and performance optimizations. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Define high-level and detailed Windchill system architectures, managing vault configurations, cluster setups, CAD worker configurations (Creo, Office Worker), and SSO/SSL implementations. Plan and execute end-to-end Windchill upgrades, conducting lower-environment rehearsals, executing WinDU analysis/issue resolution, and authoring detailed production runbooks. Lead the customization and integration of Windchill with enterprise systems including SAP ECC/S4 ERP, MES, CPQ, and CAD platforms utilizing ESI and Windchill Bulk Migration tools. Oversee end-to-end project deployment, including object modeling, workflow design, testing, performance tuning, and cross-functional risk management. Provide technical governance and mentorship to junior developers while maintaining comprehensive system architecture and customization documentation.
