WordPress Developer Job — netcincyapp.com (Networking Cincinnati LLC) Posted by: Networking Cincinnati LLC, Cincinnati, OH Site: https://netcincyapp.com (WordPress 7.1.4, Divi 5.18.1, PHP 8.3.6, single EC2 host) Job type: Two targeted bug fixes. Fixed price $250. Expedited — start ASAP. FIX 1 — BuddyBoss Platform activation fatal (member profiles) BuddyBoss Platform 3.6.2 is installed but INACTIVE. Activating it takes the whole wp-admin down with a fatal, deterministically (verified twice): E_ERROR — TypeError: array_map(): Argument #2 ($array) must be of type array, string given /wp-content/plugins/buddyboss-platform/bp-core/classes/class-bp-admin-tab.php on line 329 PHP 8.3.6 Admin recovery was via WordPress recovery-mode email both times. No newer BuddyBoss version is offered by WP Updates (3.6.2 is what the updates screen serves). Goal: BuddyBoss activates cleanly, wp-admin stays up, and Facebook-style member profiles + a members directory work with the existing Directorist setup. Fix it however is cleanest (child-theme/plugin patch, version pin, or vendor update path) — and document what you changed. FIX 2 — Directorist front-end listing form dies at "Category" Directorist 8.10.5 (all plugins up to date). The front-end submit flow at https://netcincyapp.com/add-listing/ renders plan selection, then Title + Description, then at the Category field shows "There has been a critical error on this website" and truncates — no submit button, no later sections. The wp-admin Add New Listing form works fully. Category taxonomy has 1 term ("General", slug: general). Settings reviewed; nothing obviously unset. Goal: find the fatal in the PHP error log, fix it, and prove the front-end form renders end-to-end and submits a test listing. ACCESS WE PROVIDE (AND THE RULES) - A temporary WordPress admin account created for you, plus SFTP/hosting access as needed for error logs. Access is revoked when the job closes. - We do not share the owner's personal passwords, Stripe, or bank access — none is needed for these two fixes. Stripe connection is being completed by the owner in parallel; do not touch payment settings. - Work on a staging copy or with a full backup first (UpdraftPlus is active). The live site must never be left in a broken state overnight. DONE MEANS (ACCEPTANCE CHECKS) 1. BuddyBoss active; wp-admin + front end load normally; a test member profile page and the members directory render. 2. /add-listing/ renders every field past Category and a test listing submits successfully from the front end. 3. A short written summary of root cause + changes for each fix. 4. No other plugins/settings changed without asking. Apply To This Job
