What You’ll Love About This Role ✅ 100% Remote – Work from home ✅ Competitive pay: $43/hr ✅ Long-Term Contract (6+ months) ✅ Full-Time Opportunity ✅ Collaborative environment with strong client relationships What You’ll Be Doing Conduct and direct claim investigations to determine AOE/COE, including 24-hour three-point contact with employee, employer, and medical providers Establish and maintain accurate reserves based on probable claim outcomes Authorize appropriate medical treatment and ensure timely issuance of indemnity benefits Manage legal aspects of Workers’ Compensation claims, including litigated files Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employers, producers, and injured workers Evaluate settlement opportunities and move claims toward appropriate resolution and closure Participate in claim review meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders What We’re Looking For 3-5 years of California Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience Self-Insured Certificate Experience managing indemnity and litigated Workers’ Compensation claims Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Strong investigative, analytical, and decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced claims environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

WCCA or WCCP designation Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
